One of my inspirations, among others XD I did this piece after reading a biography of the Spitfire, and was very much impressed by the tales of Douglas Bader, Al Deere, Eric Lock and so many more ( my favorite period of the conflict being the battle of brittain,it´s not a surprise i have an inclination for the "Few")

Nicely done. Why does it look like it has a French flag on the tail. I thought they where a British aircraft.

Those are the british colors. All RAF spits had them, its not a flag. At the begining at thought the same
